Marian Dixon is a consultant and trainer within agriculture and the food industry and has particular skills in the environmental and resource management sectors. She has lived and worked on dairy farms for 20 years. She has lectured for three years in the Faculty of Agriculture, Newcastle University, on subjects including rumen function, silage, and livestock diseases. She has trained dairy farm staff in antibiotic testing, milking techniques and dairy hygiene, and is a recognised trainer for the First Milk Academy.
